Fair housing

1. Lanombre Rentals is an equal housing opportunity publisher. Every listing must follow the federal Fair Housing Act and state and local fair housing law.
2. Listings may not state a preference, limit or discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, familial status, national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, citizenship, immigration status, primary language, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other trait protected where the home is.
3. Where the law protects source of income, listings may not refuse housing vouchers or public assistance. Phrases such as "no Section 8" are not allowed.
4. Listings may not ban people with criminal records outright or ask about arrests. Local fair chance rules may add more.
5. Wording that breaks these rules is blocked when you post. If you see a listing that does, use Report this listing and choose Discriminatory wording.
6. You can also file a complaint with HUD (hud.gov/fairhousing) or your state civil rights agency.
