Scam safety

1. Never pay before you see the unit and sign a lease. Never wire money or pay with gift cards.
2. Be wary of rent far below similar homes, owners who are out of the country, and anyone who will not show the home in person.
3. Keep conversations on this site until you have seen the home. Email addresses and phone numbers in messages are hidden.
4. Report a listing that looks fake with Report this listing. You can also report fraud to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.
